B.S. Chemistry, University of Tennessee – Knoxville, 2022.
Wilson Wang graduated with a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, in 2022. Under the supervision of Prof. Craig Barnes, he investigated the thermodynamic properties of a [ZrCl4·SOCl2]2 adduct for applications in the recycling of nuclear grade zirconium in ZircaloyTM cladding. In December of 2022, Wilson joined the group of Prof. Selvan Demir at Michigan State University. His current research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of new transition metal catalysts, with the goal of activating small molecules and implementing them as building blocks in catalytic cycles.
